Common questions

Why cost per hour?

Because the sticker price alone is misleading. A $70 game you play for 200 hours costs less per hour than a $20 one you finish in an afternoon. Cost per hour is how you compare them fairly.

What counts as good value?

A rough scale: under $1 an hour is excellent, $1 to $3 is good, and above about $6 an hour is worth waiting for a sale. Multiplayer and roguelike games tend to score best because people keep playing them.
