Privacy policy

Effective 30 August 2026. Last updated 30 August 2026.

Before you publish: replace the placeholder company name, registered address, contact address and jurisdiction below with your real details, and have this reviewed for the markets you serve. This template covers the disclosures Google AdSense expects, but it is not legal advice.

This policy explains what GamingPickz collects when you visit this website, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. If anything here is unclear, write to us at our contact page.

Who we are

GamingPickz is operated by GamingPickz, registered at [YOUR REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For the purposes of data protection law, GamingPickz is the data controller for this website.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and nothing else.
  • Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, referring page, pages requested and timestamp. These are used for security and for diagnosing faults.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Described in the next section.

We do not ask for or store payment details, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Cookies and advertising

This site is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies more broadly at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
  • We store one first-party item in your browser, pl.consent.ads.v1, which records whether you accepted or declined advertising cookies. Declining does not restrict any content on this site.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, advertising cookies are only set after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Analytics

[If you add an analytics tool, name it here, say what it collects, link to its privacy policy, and state whether it is gated behind consent. Remove this section if you use no analytics.]

Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on consent for advertising and analytics cookies, and on legitimate interests for server logs kept for security and fault diagnosis.

How long we keep data

Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and up to 24 months afterwards. Cookie lifetimes are set by the vendors listed above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California may request disclosure of, or deletion of, personal information, and may opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email our contact page.

Data transfers

Our hosting and advertising providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Links to other sites

We link to storefronts, publisher sites and other references. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

We will update the effective date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be noted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
