Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles

Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles is a 2008 action-adventure game developed by Gameloft Bucharest and published by Ubisoft. It is the first spin-off installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise, and a prequel to 2007's Assassin's Creed. Taking place in the year 1190, one year prior to the events of Assassin's Creed, the game revolves around Altaïr Ibn-LaʼAhad's search for an artifact called the Chalice, which brings him into conflict with the Templar Order. Altaïr travels to several cities in the Middle East during the game, including Jerusalem, Acre, and Damascus, as well as Tyre and Aleppo, which are new to the series.

Where Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles sits on the grid

The grid places every game in the catalogue on measured axes rather than on an opinion. This is where Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles lands on each map it has the data for, with the share of the catalogue it beats on each axis.

The whole catalogueRecent and quiet
Year
72ahead of 24% of the catalogue
Reach
47ahead of 85% of the catalogue

Percentiles are against the games that carry a reading on that axis, not the whole catalogue: counting a game with no figure as a zero would flatter everything that has one. How the grid works.

What readers say about Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles

Reviews written by people who have played it. These are separate from the GamingPickz Score and are never averaged into it: that score comes from thousands of Steam reviews with a sample-size correction, and a handful of unverified ratings would distort it rather than improve it.
