Contra Force

Contra Force is a 1992 run and gun game developed and published by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System in North America. It is part of the Contra series, being the third game in the series released for the NES following the original Contra and Super Contra. However, the game's plot and setting are unrelated to both previous and succeeding entries, as the villains in the game are human terrorists instead of an alien menace. The game was scheduled to be released in Japan under the title of Arc Hound , with no ties to the Contra series, but was cancelled.

Where Contra Force sits on the grid

The grid places every game in the catalogue on measured axes rather than on an opinion. This is where Contra Force lands on each map it has the data for, with the share of the catalogue it beats on each axis.

Percentiles are against the games that carry a reading on that axis, not the whole catalogue: counting a game with no figure as a zero would flatter everything that has one. How the grid works.

What readers say about Contra Force

Reviews written by people who have played it. These are separate from the GamingPickz Score and are never averaged into it: that score comes from thousands of Steam reviews with a sample-size correction, and a handful of unverified ratings would distort it rather than improve it.
