Crash Team Racing
Crash Team Racing is a 1999 kart racing game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation. It is the fourth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series and the final Crash Bandicoot game to be developed by Naughty Dog. The game's story focuses on the efforts of Crash Bandicoot, Doctor Neo Cortex, and other ragtag team of characters in the Crash Bandicoot series, who must race against the egomaniacal Nitros Oxide to save the Earth from destruction. In the game, players can take control of one of fifteen Crash Bandicoot series characters, though only eight are available at first. During the races, offensive and speed boosting power-ups can be used to gain an advantage.

Where Crash Team Racing sits on the grid
The grid places every game in the catalogue on measured axes rather than on an opinion. This is where Crash Team Racing lands on each map it has the data for, with the share of the catalogue it beats on each axis.
- Year
- 58ahead of 12% of the catalogue
- Reach
- 55ahead of 92% of the catalogue
Percentiles are against the games that carry a reading on that axis, not the whole catalogue: counting a game with no figure as a zero would flatter everything that has one. How the grid works.
What readers say about Crash Team Racing
Reviews written by people who have played it. These are separate from the GamingPickz Score and are never averaged into it: that score comes from thousands of Steam reviews with a sample-size correction, and a handful of unverified ratings would distort it rather than improve it.
