Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero is a 1997 action-adventure game developed and published by Midway for the PlayStation and Nintendo 64. A spin-off of the Mortal Kombat franchise, it is the first installment not to be a fighting game. Set before the original Mortal Kombat game, it follows Bi-Han, the elder Sub-Zero, in his quest to find Shinnok's amulet. It also introduces characters and story elements that would be used by Mortal Kombat 4, which was released later the same year. Mythologies is the final game in the series to use digitized actors.

Where Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero sits on the grid
The grid places every game in the catalogue on measured axes rather than on an opinion. This is where Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero lands on each map it has the data for, with the share of the catalogue it beats on each axis.
- Year
- 55ahead of 10% of the catalogue
- Reach
- 36ahead of 77% of the catalogue
Percentiles are against the games that carry a reading on that axis, not the whole catalogue: counting a game with no figure as a zero would flatter everything that has one. How the grid works.
What readers say about Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero
Reviews written by people who have played it. These are separate from the GamingPickz Score and are never averaged into it: that score comes from thousands of Steam reviews with a sample-size correction, and a handful of unverified ratings would distort it rather than improve it.
