Silent Hill: Book of Memories
Silent Hill: Book of Memories is a 2012 dungeon crawler game developed by WayForward Technologies and published by Konami. Released for the PlayStation Vita, it is a spin-off of the Silent Hill video game series. It features a player-created protagonist who receives the titular book on their birthday, which contains their entire life story, and makes changes to it with unforeseen and often unfavorable consequences. Book of Memories features gameplay elements from role-playing games: as the player character traverses the dungeons and defeats monsters there, they gain experience points and thus improve their respective abilities. The character progresses from each themed level by collecting pieces of a puzzle and then solving the puzzle. Five endings are available based on the character's alignment; the sixth is a joke ending in the tradition of previous Silent Hill games.

Where Silent Hill: Book of Memories sits on the grid
The grid places every game in the catalogue on measured axes rather than on an opinion. This is where Silent Hill: Book of Memories lands on each map it has the data for, with the share of the catalogue it beats on each axis.
- Year
- 78ahead of 33% of the catalogue
- Reach
- 22ahead of 67% of the catalogue
Percentiles are against the games that carry a reading on that axis, not the whole catalogue: counting a game with no figure as a zero would flatter everything that has one. How the grid works.
What readers say about Silent Hill: Book of Memories
Reviews written by people who have played it. These are separate from the GamingPickz Score and are never averaged into it: that score comes from thousands of Steam reviews with a sample-size correction, and a handful of unverified ratings would distort it rather than improve it.
