V-Rally
V-Rally is a 1997 racing video game developed and published by Infogrames Multimedia for the PlayStation. The first game in the V-Rally series, it is based on the 1997 and 1998 World Rally Championship seasons, and features officially licensed cars and tracks inspired by real locations of rally events. Players drive rally cars through a series of stages spread over eight different locations, ranging from European countries like England, Spain or Sweden, to island countries such as Indonesia and New Zealand. As a simulation game, V-Rally places a strong emphasis on replicating the behavior physics of real cars and generally requires more practice than arcade-style racers.

Where V-Rally sits on the grid
The grid places every game in the catalogue on measured axes rather than on an opinion. This is where V-Rally lands on each map it has the data for, with the share of the catalogue it beats on each axis.
- Year
- 55ahead of 10% of the catalogue
- Reach
- 34ahead of 75% of the catalogue
Percentiles are against the games that carry a reading on that axis, not the whole catalogue: counting a game with no figure as a zero would flatter everything that has one. How the grid works.
What readers say about V-Rally
Reviews written by people who have played it. These are separate from the GamingPickz Score and are never averaged into it: that score comes from thousands of Steam reviews with a sample-size correction, and a handful of unverified ratings would distort it rather than improve it.
