Yoshi's Island DS

Yoshi's Island DS, known in Japan as Yoshi Island DS, is a 2006 platform game developed by Artoon and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. It was released in North America and Australia in November 2006, in Europe in December 2006, and in Japan in March 2007. It is a sequel to the 1995 SNES game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It was announced at Nintendo's E3 press conference in May 2006, and was originally to be titled Yoshi's Island 2, though its name was changed one month before its North American release. In April and May 2015, the game was made available for the Wii U via the Virtual Console service, shortly after a Nintendo Direct presentation.

Where Yoshi's Island DS sits on the grid

The grid places every game in the catalogue on measured axes rather than on an opinion. This is where Yoshi's Island DS lands on each map it has the data for, with the share of the catalogue it beats on each axis.

Percentiles are against the games that carry a reading on that axis, not the whole catalogue: counting a game with no figure as a zero would flatter everything that has one. How the grid works.

What readers say about Yoshi's Island DS

Reviews written by people who have played it. These are separate from the GamingPickz Score and are never averaged into it: that score comes from thousands of Steam reviews with a sample-size correction, and a handful of unverified ratings would distort it rather than improve it.
