Problems players report

We read the 300 most recent negative Steam reviews of Tom Clancy's The Division on 30 August 2026 and counted what they mention. These are complaints, not confirmed defects: we have not reproduced any of them, and a review describes one person's machine. What the counts tell you is which problems more than one person ran into.

  1. Crashes and freezes20 of 300 (7%)

The biggest issue with this is that Ubisoft Connect (ironic name) constantly crashes, leaving you unable to play game.

Steam review, 6 December 2025 · 6 hours played · 105 readers marked it helpful

Here, I can't even launch it because of Ubisoft Connect is crashing.

Steam review, 2 December 2025 · 2 hours played · 45 readers marked it helpful
  2. Servers and connection18 of 300 (6%)

We've been experiencing a LOT of server issues, a lack of support if you send a support ticket, loads of cheaters and even complete disconnects (delta).

Steam review, 4 March 2026 · 1,491 hours played · 14 readers marked it helpful

The controls suck, the enemies are all bullet sponges and hit like a freight train (The Ripper), and nobody's around in early game for matchmaking.

Steam review, 9 July 2026 · 1 hours played · 4 readers marked it helpful

A further 11 reviews call the game buggy or broken without saying how, which is why they are counted separately rather than assigned to a theme. Counted by keyword across review text, so a review discussing two problems is counted under both. Read the reviews yourself.
