Problems players report

We read the 220 most recent negative Steam reviews of Trials of Mana on 30 August 2026 and counted what they mention. These are complaints, not confirmed defects: we have not reproduced any of them, and a review describes one person's machine. What the counts tell you is which problems more than one person ran into.

  1. Crashes and freezes7 of 220 (3%)

Even if you do get it to start enjoy playing russian roulette with a multitude of issues ranging from boss fight glitches, game crashing based on who you choose to be a party member, crashing after reaching a certain character level.

5.So far haven't dealt with a single bug & the game hasn't crashed,Shouldn't have to praise that point since they are selling a product but hey when games like hired gun want to release & still not fix their crashing issues even years later, then i have to.

A further 5 reviews call the game buggy or broken without saying how, which is why they are counted separately rather than assigned to a theme. Counted by keyword across review text, so a review discussing two problems is counted under both. Read the reviews yourself.
