Problems players report

We read the 100 most recent negative Steam reviews of Glover on 30 August 2026 and counted what they mention. These are complaints, not confirmed defects: we have not reproduced any of them, and a review describes one person's machine. What the counts tell you is which problems more than one person ran into.

  1. Performance and stutter20 of 100 (20%)

The downside is that it only contains basic settings: resolution, frame rate, volume, and keyboard & controller input mappings.

    - Everyone talks about how they can change the fps from the game, but I didn't find that option, being oblified to play with 60 fps.

Steam review, 9 July 2024 · 7 hours played · 46 readers marked it helpful
  2. Audio and subtitles12 of 100 (12%)

The 30 and 60 settings introduce severe audio and physics issues.

Steam review, 21 April 2022 · 0 hours played · 640 readers marked it helpful

Most enemies and glover don't have a chunk of their sound effects, most sound effects that are there in the game get cut off, and whenever I get all collectibles in a level the literal whole audio of the first cutscene of the game plays I swear to god.

  3. Crashes and freezes6 of 100 (6%)

That stage crashing means I cannot collect everything, which is contradictory to this game's design.

[*]The game crashes constantly in some locations.

Steam review, 17 July 2026 · 8 hours played · 3 readers marked it helpful
  4. Visual glitches6 of 100 (6%)

Take a look at the bottom right corner where there's a blobby mess clipping out of the floor at weird angles.

Steam review, 21 April 2022 · 0 hours played · 640 readers marked it helpful

Lost all hope for this game and publishers (They don't develop anything..well, they don't do anything really) until I see simple things fixed, such as no-clipping in what is stage 5/30 in the game.

Steam review, 29 October 2022 · 5 hours played · 96 readers marked it helpful

A further 9 reviews call the game buggy or broken without saying how, which is why they are counted separately rather than assigned to a theme. Counted by keyword across review text, so a review discussing two problems is counted under both. Read the reviews yourself.
